Not even close. It is a 4 year old PC.

Motherboard came out in November 2010, GPU in March 2010
Only 4GB RAM

$1000 in parts, and you could build something that will eat this things lunch. And be new, with warranty, etc.

Mediocre GPU

Again, crap (dangerous) PSU, among other things.
You're looking for a new PC. Build one instead of buy one.

What is your budget and projected use?

I just went to pcpartpicker and came up with this for 1500.
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Corsair H105 73.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MSI Z87 MPOWER Max ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
AMD RG2133 Gamer Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory
Hitachi Ultrastar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
MSI GeForce GTX 770 4GB Video Card
Asus Xonar DGX 24-bit 96 KHz Sound Card
Asus USB-N10 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Wi-Fi Adapter
Antec P183 V3 + 850 ATX Mid Tower Case w/850W Power Supply
Asus DRW-24F1ST DVD/CD Writer
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

You almost certainly don't need 16GB. Go down to 8
Unless you really, really need it, delete the sound card. The motherboard already has sound
Get the WiFi adapter only if you have no other choice. Hardwired with Cat5e is far, far better.
Verify exactly what PSU comes with that case, and find it on this list: http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

Not bad....getting there.
If it were me, I'd drop the liquid cooler in favor of an air cooler. But that's just me.
And I'd look into a higher tier PSU. That one isn't bad, but for $80 you can probably do better.

Could you recommend a good air cooler?

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

I have the previous model, and it does the job , absolutely silently.

pcpartpicker is just links to individual sellers. Amazon, Newgg, etc. You can't order directly from pcpartpicker.

And yes, you'll just get a stack of individual boxes. Think of it as adult LEGO.

There are multiple vids on youtube, and Newegg has a particularly good series. I don't have the links, but search around and you'll find them.
