Hello Everyone,
I'm having a really confusing time trying to figure out if a single Display Port 1.2 cable in Daisy Chain will have enough bandwidth to run both Monitors at 1440x2560 resolution & 10bit colour, which both natively handle. Or if one monitor is going to auto scale down perhaps or maybe I'll run into a less then stellar frame rate.
The Monitors in question - Asus PA279Q & Eizo CG276W
There's also a matter of the Hrtz speed being halved or something if I do duel monitors via Daisy Chain, but the information I've come across doesn't really discuss duel 1440x2560 displays specifically, & whether the issue is solved by a single GC with 2 Display Ports or 2 GC's with a single Display Port each going to each Monitor.
So the real question I'm asking is whether a single DP 1.2 cable can handle two 1440x2560 screens with 10bit colour & retain their max refresh rates, if so, Card suggestions in the GTX range possibly.
If not, could you guys/girls suggest some other options?
Thanks!
