I'm currently trying to build a PC. My wish is to use it mainly for gaming. I decided not to get a ps4 and instead give PC a shot. I feel that i am kind of pushing my budget already and dont want to spend more money. I was told that i should slim down on the processor and put more towards gpu. With this being said what is a good recommendation for my CPU. I want to be able to run games such bf4 and crysis on high if possible. I currently have:

Processor: Amd FX-8350 Eight-Core 4GHz AM3+ Processor
Graphics Card:2GI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 HD Experience Series
Motherboard: 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Socket AM3+ ATX AMD Motherboard
Ram: ADATA XPG Gaming Series 8GB DDR3-1600
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Series Mid ATX Tower

a good choice would be the FX 8320 or the 6300. You should be able to get an R9 270 or 270X. I would recommend the 8320 over the 6300, it is a fair step up for just a bit more money. Another route you could go is by going with an i5 4440 and upgrade the GPU down the road once you save for it. If you don't plan on upgrading shoot for a 270 or 270X and get the 8320 (highly recommended) or the 6300 (will do worse in multiplayer but otherwise work well) to offset the cost.

Also, try and find a cheaper case, if you get a 50.00 case and an 8320 you might just be able to afford a gtx 760 which would be a pretty good sweet spot.

Use pcpartpicker.com to build a mock system. Then ask for help with it at redditcom/r/buildapc The people there love to offer suggestions and help.

For sure the 8320...its almost the same chip as the 8350 minus money. It can easily be moderately overclocked to be identical to the 8350.

If you live anywhere close to a microcenter...you can get the 8320 right now for $99.
