AMD Catalyst not recognise 2nd monitor

Hi

I have AMD Radeon HD 7650M and i connect an external monitor with vga cable, but the graphic card does not recognise and the monitor writes "no signal"

What can i do to fix this problem?

How are they both hooked up to the laptop ? Does this monitor work on it's own without being the 2nd monitor. Have you tried closing the lid to your laptop to see if it kicks over to the other screen ?

The Monitor is connected with vga cable my computer has entrance for vga cable. The monitor works on it's own but my notebook does not recognise it. I tried to close the lid but it didn't work. The problem is that i went to the settings of the graphic card and it found the second monitor but is "unknown" it doesn't recognise it!

Yes maybe the drivers. I downloaded them but i don't know how to install it , the screen it's called acer lcd monitor G206HQL. The drivers that i dowloaded they were files profil ICC. Do you know how to install them?
