Why can gigabyte make a better card than evga for less?

It seams that the two cards in the link below (both sporting nvidias 780ti gpu engine) are identical in every aspect except Gigabyte's version is clocked slightly faster. However the card is almost $50 cheaper? Is there a reason for this that im not aware of? Are other company's (msi, asus, gigabyte) version of nvidias gpu's SLI-capabale?

I added the gigabyte to my cart to see the price and it came to $679 and the eva with the $10 off is $699 so it's only a $20 difference, not $50.

Thanks for the quick response! So you would say that Gigabytes version would outperform evga's version even though it is cheaper?
