Hello all,

I have trying to find some good parts for my first hackintosh build.
These are the parts i found thus far : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2USdM

Now i was wondering if i could use the Aopen Z400-08FC power supply for this build, considering i already have one of these.

Thank you in advance !
(Im sorry if i posted this in the wrong category, didnt know were to ask this)

Are you gonna be gaming. If you are, I highly recommend to save up because more technology is coming this year so if you get that build, in like a couple of months, you wont be able to play popular games not because you wont even get 30 fps but more because it will just be too outdated tech. So yeah, I highly recommend waiting and saving up. If you wait, you will have more money (obviously unless you like to make it rain) and you will have better options for your money. Now if this isnt a gaming computer get this build instead

First of all, thanks for responding so quick.

I am mainly going to use it for music/video editing, and yeah some gaming, but gaming is not the 1st priority.
Also was under the impression that amd and hackintosh (mac) dont go hand in hand, so thats why i picked an intel. Or is that bs ?

And i think i solved my own question, i just read the importance of a power supply so im gonna go with a new one anyway's.

I am probably gonna wait like 3 months before i am going to start buying parts, i was just looking around actually, but i am deffinately going to build one.

The ''technology'' you speak of, is it going to be such a milestone that building a computer like this isn't even worth the money and effort ?

Thanks again !
