3.6K Advice Requested for Elite Build

I have put together three builds within my budget. I am not locked in on any of these builds. They represent my best efforts to piece together the best possible configurations. I lean slightly towards the first thinking I could add a second video card down the line and it leaves me a bit of wiggle room in my budget. The problem is I don't keep up with hardware as much as I should so I'm reaching out for some expert advice. Here are some possible builds:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2Voe4
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2VrlR

I could really use some assistance with this pc. After much deliberation and some advice from this forum I have decided to give build myself. My budget is fixed at $3,600, and I must not exceed this total including shipping. I am going into this apprehensively given my past experience with home pc building:

The components were not a good match, the radiator didn't fit the case without significant modification and the reservoir cracked within a year and leaked coolant over the MB, GPU's and RAM ruining everything.

My intended use for this machine are as follows:

1. Development Works utilizing Microsoft Frameworks. I mostly use Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate, SQL Server 2008 R2 and some Photoshop at the moment. At least those are the heavy lifters.

2. High end PC gaming. I want to run every game I play in max settings without latency. A minimum of 60fps on ultra settings is the goal.

3. Video Editing. I have a new GoPro Hero3+ camera. At the moment I am using the GoPro video editing software but may upgrade in the future. I will be using this PC to edit the footage we capture into something watchable.

Here are those configurations I have pieced together once again:

Overclocking sounds intriguing but I've never done it. I have some friends that may be able to assist me in this area, but it is not a primary concern. Please keep within the framework of a 3.6k budget and lend me your suggestions.

Things I do not need:

1. Monitors. I have two excellent monitors and may eventually add a third. I do not need one at this time.

2. Keyboard / Mice - I have enough.

3. Speakers - My system is really old and could use an upgrade but I'll add something down the road. I really want a nice audio setup but I don't have the room to support 5.1 or 7.1 speakers. It would be nice if the MB had nice sound integration so I won't have to add a sound card. I like to listen to and sometimes produce music. That said, I would never describe myself as an audiophile capable of discerning small differences in audio quality.

Thank you for any time invested; even if it's only to read this thread. I am most grateful for your input.

Well, you certainly don't want to go with a CPU that is three generations old like the i7-2700k. This is what I would suggest. The motherboard has built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

For that kind of cash I'd go X79 especially for video editing and development. The extra RAM and cores will come in very handy. The only bad thing is if you wait a bit the new X99 systems and Haswell-E (i7-5XXX) will be out shortly:

The Cooler Master Eisburg is a bit expensive but better than the Corsair H100/H110 in that it will allow you to setup a custom loop for your GPUs if you use something like an Arctic Cooling Accelero for your GPU cooler.

This looks awesome. Thanks for you input, I love the idea of not needing a separate card to handle my wireless connection too.
