Has anyone noticed most of the new and higher end cases all have a bottom mount power supply, yet the motherboards still retain the 12v connector at the top of the board!!!

The PSU 12v connector wiring seems to always come up just a bit short for a proper routing.

Just venting.

Defionatly move them too the bottom. However it might be a mission since it could create alot of heat and be a nightmare having lots of distance between them. But even in my case it comes up about 3 cms short. Which is increadably frustrating. I think they should just make the 12v cable longer

I do wonder why the 12V connectors can't be moved to the same side of the board as the 24 pin to be honest, perhaps mount them at the top right of the board, that would leave them close enough to the CPU socket that the extra tracing wouldn't be a massive issue, and if needs be they could "seperate" that part of the motherboard out like they do for those fancy sound chips on newer motherboards.
