Let me start out by saying I have the Intel HD onboard graphics (can't remember the exact name) and I also have a GTX 670.

Lately I've been experiencing great FPS drops in games. I figured the reason was that the computer was using the Intel graphics for games when it should of been using the GTX instead. So stupidly I went into Device Manager, and disabled the Intel graphics. As soon as I did that the screen turned black.

Stupid, I know. I was expecting the computer to automatically use the GTX card. So now I have no display, the monitor doesn't even receive a signal at all. I open the PC and the monitor just goes to sleep. I've tried HDMI cable, VGA and DVI.

I cleared the CMOS to reset BIOS and still no display.

I cannot access BIOS/ Safe mode since my monitor doesn't get signal for any of the three (HDMI, VGA, DVI)

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm very confused and don't know what to do!

Would opening up the case and removing the GTX card work (so it automatically goes to use on-board)? I might try that later if it's a good idea.

Hi dordelicious!
I was just "suffering" from the same problem and I figured it out this way, so I hope I can help you, if you haven't fixed it already.
What I did was connecting my monitor not with the motherboard but with my other graphic card. This was my mistake all along, I had it plugged in on the motherboard so it used the integrated graphics.
Once you do that, your computer will boot and then you can choose your configurations.
Hope I was of assistance!
