I don't plan on overclocking, I just want to save some money. (don't we all?)
Any build changes or other suggestions are welcome.

AMD is typically the best budget way to go.

I would say quality wise the ASUS M5A97 and then the ASrock board you have there. You dont really want to skimp on the board, but all of the suggested ones will work.
