Hi Folks,
I currently own an HP Pavilion p6-2104ed with an Eyefinity Radeon HD7570 (that came with it)
I'm looking to upgrade my video card as the current one is starting to develop some issues
My question is: will a HD7770 run on it? Unfortunately the computer only has a 300W power supply (not planning to upgrade the power), though I did see a similar topic where the HD7770 was referenced for a 300W PSU
Full specs for the pc are at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c03280789#N1225
For the power supply it just says:
Internal 300W (100V-240V)
Form factor: Internal ATX
Total wattage: 300W
Nominal input voltage range:
100-127V/6A (50-60Hz)
200-240V/3A (50-60Hz)
Dimensions: 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches)
This power supply has an LED to indicate a possible failure condition when LED is off and power is connected
If it runs: great! I see its specs are quite a lot better that the 7570.
If not: any suggestions on a different video card that will run?
