Trying to set up my SSD and HDD new help

I just recently build my new computer and it was a semi success. I put windows on to my SSD and now I want everything else I download to go on my 1TB HDD. While following a guide I thought that I had done everything correctly and that it would just download everything to my HDD. However I think I may have messed up, I want what I download on my HDD to show up on my start menu and programs file and all that to be from my HDD, but it's not working that way it is still showing everything from my SSD. I also can't update my windows anymore, I can download it but when the updates go to configure they dont work and my computer just reverts back. How can I fix all this and get it t work and update properly? Thanks a lot for the help I appreciate it greatly.

Sounds like your Windows installation is seriously messed up. I would start over with a clean install from scratch.
