Hello everyone I have decided to upgrade my current Pc that is a few years old now and was wondering if this was worth the money?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Asus-FX-8320-4-0Ghz-1tb-8gb-1...

looking to play most of the more recent games on fairly high settings and wasn't very sure if this pc is up to the task.I have a budget of between £600-£800.I'am also aware that it doesn't come with an operating system.

Thanks in advance for any help given :)

£600 - £800 will get you a high quality PC if you play it right, don't splash out on a £300 motherboard if you don't need extra ram slots or overclocking features.

You don't need to overclock high end CPU's will last you 4 years, but if you want to overclock you need to get a motherboard that supports your CPU socket and overclocking abilities (Some motherboards are MADE for overclocking and extreme overclocking)

GPU GTX 670 is a fine card even in 2014 but if you want to a REALLY powerful card I would save extra for a GTX 780ti or wait for a GTX 790 has more VRAM for GPU punishing games like Crysis 3.

RAM you don't need more than 8gbs for a gaming PC OR Wait until DDR4 ram comes out which requires a new CPU and motherboard to allow DDR4 use.

BUILD YOUR OWN!! DON'T USE PRE-BUILT PC's!! You could easily shave 400 of by building your own!

A lot of people on this site will help you ^^ Never be afraid to ask :)
