I need a new build, and I got a budget of $1300. I want a build that can run graphics heavy games like Battlefield 4, DayZ SA, Titanfall, Planetside 2, Star Citizen, The Division, Dragon Age Inquisition, Watch Dogs, Witcher 3, and more on Ultra settings. I also want to be able to overclock a lot! I don't need some parts, so don't be afraid to put more money into the mobo or VC with the extra money.

I dont need:
Case
CPU cooler
Hard Drive
Optical Drive

My budget is $1300, so if someone can help me with a build that can run graphics heavy games like the ones above on Ultra or even High, while being able to overclock, that would be great.

For the case I got a CoolerMaster CM 690 and for the CPU cooler I got a Corsair H50 water cooler i believe?

I'd pretty much recommend what Scoutdrago3 said, the r9 280x will be able to play most games now on ultra with good fps, the i7 suggested is pretty much the best consumer based cpu out there, i should think that there may be a slight imbalance in terms of the processor being slightly better, ram-wise 8gb 1600mhz should be fine however new games are being to get more ram hungry so its probably good to bare in mind that an upgrade to 16gb in the future might be beneficial with new games (especially in a higher end build like this). 650 watts is enough power but will need an upgrade if you use a crossfire in the future.

Sorry i couldn't be of much help, but someone beat me too it :)

*do keep in mind (if you want to save money) if you're just playing games alone (not streaming, recording, or heavy background tasks) then an i5 4670k will give you just as good fps, in rare cases better

Can you give me a build w/o the monitor and OS?

How about this?

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($304.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($197.27 @ TigerDirect) (decent overclocking potential)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($131.25 @ Amazon) (more than enough)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card ($519.99 @ Amazon) (more future proof option, should be significantly, not loads but quite a bit better than 280x)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 660W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($161.01 @ Amazon)
Total: $1314.51

I hope I haven't missed anything out, admittedly the gtx 780 a bit overpriced at this moment in time but im almost a 100% sure that you'll be able to play these games ultra at 60fps (don't take my word for it though)

A best configuration for a build like this would be an ssd for the OS and a standars 7200rpm hard drive for games, if used primarily as a simple gaming pc and ssd isn't hugely importance as the only differences made would be when switching on the computer and game loading screens (if they're save onto it), while they may have a huge improvement fps won't be any better for a fairly large cost, it really comes down to the amount of time you want to wait for your computer to start
