so I want to upgrade my ram I know it can hold up to 4gb and since it is only 32bit it will only read 3.5gb of ram. the question i have can the slots only hold 1gb per slot of can I use 2 2gb sticks and only use 2 slots thanks for any help

You can use 2 2GB sticks. If the motherboard is dualchannel. Make sure that you put the 2 sticks in alternating slots(same colour)
And you will be golden
