so i'm running on a single 1080p screen and not willing to upgrade to multi monitor, so i wanted to know whether to get the r9290x or the r9290 for 1080p only, will there be any noticeable difference worth the price difference?
r9 290 for sure, the 290x will only really pull away at extreme resolutions ie 4K, at 1080p you may only see about a 5% difference at most. Save yourself the money and get the 290, although be aware that cryptocurrencies have pushed the prices up by a lot in the US (For the higher end AMD cards)

i live in egypt, and i'm getting a gigabyte windofrce r9290, it costs only about 470$ and the same version of the 290x would cost 150$ more, so it's a really really good price compared to others

Even better, go for it and save the $150
so the gigabyte windofrce r9290 is a good choice?
Yep, I've also heard good things about the MSI and sapphire versions

i have a gigabyte motherboard, and i always got gigabyte cards, but i may try sapphire on this one but i wanted to know whether it does cooling as good as the windforce versions and if it works perfectly on the gigabyte motherboard
