Intel Pentium D 945 or Intel dual core e5300?

My PC have an Intel E2200, and my friend gave me an Intel e5300 but i think its pretty old (Used)... So i decided to buy an Intel Pentium D 945 for a fair price but they say that e5300 is better... Im kind of confused... So what is better? By the way i cant buy a new PC, and im only using it to play League of Legends with Lowest Graphics..
