How much VRAM do I need for my GPU?

I have a 20inch monitor with 1600*900 resolution, and I will be playing Battlefield 4, so how much vram would be needed, 1GB enough or 2GB?

Under 1080p 2GB is enough, if higher 3~4GB would be more useful!
Battlefield 4 can utilize 1,5GB VRAM so 2GB is enough for your resolution

More VRAM is used when you play games at higher resolution.
more VRAM doesn't mean that the card is better than the card which has lower VRAM.
2GB VRAM is enough for 1600 x 900 resolution , choose your GPU wisely , because Battlefield 4 requires much powerful gpu.
