There are two similar threads in discussion about crypto currencies and coin mining:

- The first is on CPUs: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2041369/cryptomini...
- The other is on GPUs: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2041557/crypto-cur...

This thread is a moderator-sanctioned discussion that will focus on coin mining, all the various types of mining, and most importantly - what components are needed to create a successful coin mining rig? It will consist primarily of, but not necessarily limited to discussion about:

- Cases
- Power Supplies
- Motherboards
- SLI / Crossfire Configuration Setup (and what is needed for such a setup to work)
- Cooling
- Storage

We will be monitoring this in a week to see how this goes. Remember - keep it on topic and keep it civil! All off topic posts will be deleted and this thread will be monitored by myself and the other moderators to make sure that this will remain on discussion with crypto currencies and currency mining.
