Cherry blues and browns are my preference because of the tactile and auditory feedback they provide, but everything I see seems to be a little out of your price range except this keyboard that has no number pad and red switches:

Very true. On my gaming machine, I almost never use the number pad so you may never even find a need to upgrade.

The difference with the red switches is you don't get any tactile feedback. The red switch feel is more like a non-mechanical though they offer the benefits of the mechanical.
