AMD sempron 145

I have an AMD sempron 145 processor with default clock rate at 2.8gh. But it is running at 787mhz. I have tried to change it by multiplier but couldnt succeed. plz help.

Just remove cpu from mobo and again put it correctly. Check ur cooler before putting it back. This may help.

It is probably cool n quiet kicking in. Put it under a load and check the clock speed again.
