I am finally building a new computer!
First time in 5 years and I need some input on which graphics card to look at.
I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but I want something that will at least last a couple years running games no problem.
I am coming from an EVGA GTX 460 and have been having problems deciding on which cars to upgrade to. I have been looking at the GTX 760 OC or GTX 770 but I fear the 770 might be a little too expensive.

My new PC has an i5-4670k Asus Z87-pro mobo with 8 gig of gskills sniper ram.

Again I don't want to buy the GTX 780 Ti because the price is crazy and getting the best benchmark numbers isn't important to me I just want to say "this looks good" and not be frustrated if a newer game looks bad. I have started to tell newer games not performing great on my 460 and that is what started this new build. Am looking to keep it practical.

Any thoughts on the issue would be great. It has been a long time since I built and so have been cautious about each purchase so far.

I would go with the 770. It will be able to max out current games at 60 fps which is good, rather than starting out on reduced settings.
However, a 760 will easily get you 60 fps on high/med settings
