I am building a comp for my wife this week.
I originally was going to go I5 with a decent mobo and like a 660, however I talked to her and I think its super overkill. She will only be doing Facebook games and collection games all of which are not very demanding at all. My kids might play sims4 and a few other games on it. I want 1080 resolution but am fine with graphics being at high for the lesser games and mid for any higher end games we play on it. I have my own nice set up for high end gaming.
My question is should I go with a http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.aspx?sku=617654 and get a free Gigabyte motherboard or spend the extra 100.00 on an I5 or an I3 for about the same price. Money is an issue so I do not want overkill.
Plus what do you think about a r7 250 or an GTX750 for what she will be playing?
Help me out with some ideas please, plus do you think 4 GB would be enough for awhile or should I go straight to 8 GB ram?
Thanks ,
Kaleb
