Hey, so I've got a new system build with an intel i5, 8gb of ddr3 ram, an asus z87 sabertooth board (for modding purposes later), with a 650w silverstone power supply. in a cosmos II ultra-tower (also for modding purposes later).
I've got about $475 spare right now, and I don't know what GPU to get. I'd prefer to avoid nvidia if possible, and go with an AMD card (NO, not for mining, before you ask). Currently I'm looking at the R9 280x from either sapphire or ASUS, but unfortunately (due to miners and a stupid-high demand), they are on average $200 HIGHER than their release cost. So they're getting the proverbial "F*** that" until the price goes down to something reasonable.
ALL OF THAT BEING SAID --> What's the best possible GPU I can get (primarily for gaming tbh) for $475, (or i'm willing to run 2 in SLI or crossfire if that's more effective)
