Re-using old computer parts.

I have an old Stand alone PC that no longer works. I had an additional internal hard drive installed a couple of years ago as a slave unit. As the PC no longer works could I recycle the two internal hard drives and use them as external storage for my new Laptop?

Yes, you can either buy two external hard drive enclosures for them, or a single docking station for both drives, like this one:
