Okay,

So basically I have an old pair 2x2 gb corsair xms 3 sticks(1600 mhz) with a latency of 8-8-8-24 that I bought 4 years ago(says ver. 3.2 on them).Just recently I removed the old sticks and replaced them with a pair of 2x4 gb corsair xms 3 sticks(1600 mhz) with a latency of 9-9-9-24(says ver 6.16 on them). Right now I only use the 2x4 sticks but I was thinking of sticking in the old ones as well to get a total of 12 gb. Is this a good idea given they have different latencys? Other than that they are identical in appearance, brand etc.

I got a Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard with an i5-750. Could I hurt my computer if i try to stick them in there? What should I think about? Is it worth trying? Do you need any more info?

What do you mean run at lowest speed? You mean they will all run cl9 ? Well that's fine by me.

Also how does adding the new memories affect overclocking in the future? I'm considering overclocking my CPU soon.
