hey guys, I'm building my first gaming pc, this are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780
MOBO: msi mpower
RAM: 2x4 Corsair Vengeance

However I cant figure out what PSU suits me better, I got this options:

- 650W EVGA NEX650W 80plus GOLD
- 700W COOLER MASTER Thunder ( No gold certification)
- 1050W THERMALTAKE TPG-1050M 80plus GOLD

I won't add a second GPU in the future but I will upgrade my system with more RAM, CPU Cooler and stuff like that.

80plus Gold is a must have or the 700w CM Thunder without 80gold will be enough?

The 650w will do you fine, a 1050 is way overkill and would easily power extreme overclocking on the 4770k and two 780ti's.

There are quite a few 650w power supplies that are extremely reliable. XFX has a few power supplies (rebranded seasonic), bronze rated and gold rated, that are very affordable.

But honestly i see this deal for a single rail Seasonic gold rated 650w for $90.

Seasonic is the best in the business. Its an extremely reliable power supply and is plenty for your setup. Another positive is its priced there without any rebates to deal with.

I have a decent rated ocz modxstream pro 600w two rail powering my 2500k and evga 780 classified, both overclocked, and i have no problems at all. But its agruable that with the quality of my supply and its ratings, im running a tiny bit close to my max headroom when im overclocked on both the cpu and gpu. Im personally waiting for the seasonic platinum rated 660w to go on sale again at or near the $80 price(after rebate) it has gone too for only a day or two, twice in the last 6 months or so, they sell out so quickly.
