Hello there,

I wanted to change my Google and YouTube age because I just turned 18 and you need to be 18 where I live to get a YouTube account. I read on a site that you can change it via Google+ > About > Basic Info > Change your birthday > Save. When I'll do this, does it actually work? Does it also change on my YouTube account?

Thank you :D

Yes It Will Work On All Google Services Like Google+, Youtube, Google Search, Gmail Etc Etc Just Logout And Login Again And You Are Good To Go. Remember Some Youtube Videos Ask For Conformation No Matter What Your Age Is So That Time You Have To Give A Conformation That You Are Above 18 By Just Clicking An Agree Button. Its An Rare Care Scenario So Dont Worry

This is suspicious. Changing your birthdate implies either you were dishonest about it before or you're being dishonest about it now. If you entered it truthfully the first time, sites would automatically detect that you're now 18.

If the OP's birthday was setup properly in the Google account initially (assuming it was there to start with), then no action is required when that date arrives. The system will automatically update the age of the user. No action is required.
