Intel Core i3-4xx0 or AMD A10-7850K for movie playback/surfing?

Hi!
This question has been asked so many times, but I still can't decide which one to get unfortunately. I've read so many tests it's stupid...

So, what makes it so hard for me to decide then?
Like most of us know the general results of all tests is that the i3 is good at "computing" and the A10 shines in games.
What I can't find in any of the synthetic tests is how this actually will affect me on my needs in reality,

My absolut priority is that I want to be able to play HD-movies (only FullHD, not 4K) smoothly without any lag at all. I also want to be able to run my webbrowser with loads of tabs containing everything from youtube videos to text pages to in-browser games. Also this should be done with no "latency" due to lack of processing power. All in all I just want a "really" fast computer that opens programs quickly and is able to play movies etc with as little latency as possible.
Being able to game is a really nice bonus, but if it comes at a price that I will not be able to do the above as good I'm not prepared to take that bonus.

I'm not too concerned about the power usage.

Once in time I was committed to the A10-7850, but now I'm leaning towards the i3 (again) because I think there would be a noticeable difference between the two if you were to run the side by side and perform the tasks stated above.

Any thoughts on this? Am I thinking correctly or am I just overly concerned about the processing power of the A10?

I've been at his for months now, but it's time to actually buy something this time =)
Many thanks in advance!

(p.s I will buy a SSD and probably 8gb of ram. Not sure if this is relevant but I thought I'd mention it)

I would go with an i3 and a dedicated GPU, since you are thinking of gaming. The price difference isn't that great.

If gaming is a concern, go with the i3 + 7770. If the build is more intended to be an HTPC, I would use an A10 6800k or A10 6790k and no video card. I'm using the 6800k in my HTPC and it's perfect my my needs. The 6790k is $109 and the 6800k is $119 right now.

If you want to use a video card at any time, I would go with the i3 4130.
