Hey, about a couple of days ago I noticed a change in any video I play on my PC, It lags and pixelates, I'm kinda stumped on the problem as I already done the usual google search with variations of my problem to no avail (Its possible my graphics card is failing, but I'm not so sure, could be virus too) I use vlc player and my PC is:

Windows 7 64bit
Intel(R) HD graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT 440
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 -2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Plus I'm running my PC on my digital TV screen and have had trouble updating my NVIDIA GeForce Experience driver(?) updates because I'm running it on the TV, the resolution can only go as high as 1360 x 768.

oh yeah btw, my mouse has also been lagging up.

Hopefully someone can help me as I'd really like to watch some movies.

Also I'm pretty sure it''s not the video quality because even some of my old DVD files are now lagging up.

Here's some screencaps:

Sounds like a Google Chrome problem, videos hardly ever run smooth on Chrome for some odd reason, not even Twitch.tv streams, but it works fine on Internet Explorer and Firefox, you tried using any other browsers?

Try using the built-in graphics in the Intel CPU. If that removes the lag you will have found the culprit. (And will probably need a new GPU)

@pcgaming98 no it's not a google chrome problem because I use firefox, what I meant is that if I go on youtube and watch a video it is laggy (like as if it has been recorded on a cheap webcam even when it has probably been recorded with a pro camera) and if i download it and watch it on my PC it is laggy and pixellated

I found the problem, turns out I had to uninstall Nvidia geforce experience and the driver then reinstall them.

edit: Im still having a little trouble, every day or so the videos play up again so I have to reinstall the drivers again...

Try to use VLC Media Player, I had laggy problems like that but when I use this to watch my movies the problems stopped. http://download.cnet.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-...
