Few questions about table set up. Need advice.

Hello all,

I hope that I am putting this in the correct forum section.

I am getting a new table and trying to figure out if it is worth it to get a monitor stand to save space.

The table I am getting is the Gallant corner desk from Ikea.

The monitors I currently own are 3 Dell 2713hm's.

I noticed that the monitor stands for triple 27" monitors are very expensive and I wonder if its even worth it just to save some space.

What is everyone's experience with triple monitor stands are they worth the money and do they save table space, or am I better off leaving the monitors as is?

I'm hoping that you could help me out with one more thing.

I once saw a small table top 3 shelf box for putting computer accessories in, but I have yet to see it again. Does anyone have suggestions for accessory organization on the table top (few external hdd's, audio interface, etc)?

Since the desk is curved, it might just make more sense to leave the monitors on their original bases and curve them a bit to wrap around the desk. It will look much nicer like that.

Thanks for the quick reply. Am I to assume that I would also have a bit more flexibility in terms of angling the monitors as well?

Definitely, the mounts are generally. Meant for straight tables so that you can angle your monitors if your table doesn't have enough room. Your table will have plenty of room though, so flexibility will be much better.
