Are pcie power conector and SLI/XFire power connector same thing.

I just want to get a mobo which is good for overclock for i5 4670k.Now i liked the gigabyte ga z87x ud3h and asrock z87 extreme 6. But i will go with the gigabyte ga z87x ud3h cause it has better vrm and also digital pwm where asrock z87 extreme 6 has analog pwm ( hybrid is also analog).But the thing is asrock z87 extreme 6 has SLI/XFire power connector which is good for sli. But gigabyte ga z87x ud3h has pcie power conector .So i wanted to know that are pcie power conector and SLI/XFire power connector both same thing ? I will sli with 2 gtx 780. So SLI/XFire power connector is must needed. So if pcie power conector and SLI/XFire power connector both are same thing then I will go for gigabyte ga z87x ud3h.Please somebody enlighten me.Thank you.

These connectors are used to supply the motherboards with extra power when two or more video cards are used.

ATX4P (PCIe Power Connector) is a SATA power connector. (The kind used for power on a SATA hard drive)

So are you saying that Pcie power conector and SLI/XFire power connector do same thing (supply the motherboards with extra power when two or more video cards are used) ? And is there any advantage or disadvantage of Pcie power conector over SLI/XFire power connector ? And does asrock extreme 4 have that type of any connector ? Thank you.

Those two connectors do the same thing (supply the motherboards with extra power when two or more video cards are used). The other two questions - I don't know.
