I just made a post - asking for help - and someone responded - with good advice - but - I had already checked out what he suggested - and it did not work -

now my forum thread has a big 'Solved" next to it - it wasn't solved - so - how did it get put into the solved category - and can I restore it to 'unsolved condition?

OK - now the "Solved has disappeared - so - what gives?

A thread is "solved" when a Best Answer is selected, and unsolved when none is selected. The criteria on who can set/change a BA is detailed in the thread in my sig, but from the sounds of it someone prematurely selected a BA and has since reversed the decision.
Though I cant find any changelogs on the thread for BA's being un/selected.

Additionally, you can always contact a moderator for assistance if you are unable to de-select the solved status of a thread that has had a Best Answer selected for it. We're happy to help.
