Hello I was wondering if i upgrade my graphics card will improve streaming 1080p videos on my network to my TV? Im having issue with buffering on higher quality videos

You want to send files from your PC and display them on the TV ? It should not matter since it is in effect copying a file to the ethernet. If you are running software to dynamically convert it for one format to another then you could have CPU issues but just playing a file that is already in the correct codec and such for the TV should not use the video card and not a lot of CPU.

If you have windows vista or 7 you can open the resource monitor and see if you are getting cpu or other spikes.

If you have any wireless in the path then that is likely your source of problems it can cause massive lag and drop at random times.
