okay heres the quick question should i go with

CPU: FX-8350 or Core i7 4770k
MOBO: Fatal1ty 990FX Pro for AMD / MSI Z87-G45 Gaming for Intel

the rest of the part is

HDD: 3TB Seagate - probably my SSD is gonna late for while cause im gonna backup my old dying 2TB HDD first

RAM: Gskill Trident X 2400MHz 16GB (8GBx2)

GPU: Sapphire R9 290 TRIX OC - my mind is %100 go for this card, before it was "ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II OC" but both has low different price ratio so i end up with R9290 its faster... but name the card if you know something against this one

i keep my old / rest is trashed

CPU Cooler : Kraken X40
Chasses: Raidmax Agusta
PSU: Antec 1000w

thats it for $1000 budget but my biggest issue for this thread is the CPU's

gaming is major yes and very slight editing video in Adobe/Vegas/Corel Video/ and copying massive files for this purpose

then the i5 will do fine and the maximus vi hero is optimized for gaming (feature wise not performance) its a very good combo ;)

can you tell me the good things in Maximus IV Hero compare to MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ? Maximus is bit pricey and im not going to OC both CPU and GPU not till the last resort probably in next 2-4 years gen games and is my R9 290 GPU okay? i cant go much further to R9 290X or GTX780 not unless if cheaper

well 8350 will trade blows with that i5 4670k. The i7 would clearly be the better choice. But thats assuming HyperThreading will start to see support in games. or you could just go with a 6 core i7 (if you are rich) and be future proof. Or if you want to save money, and still want to bank on HT you could get a Xeon e3, but dont care for overclocks, the Xeon e3 1230 v3 is basically an i7 without the built in GPU.

If Its To Pricey for you then the Asus Z87-A Or Asrock Extreme 6 Are both great choices MSI on the other hand is a 50/50

is MSI Z87 G45 good motherboard? ive experienced AsRock they are fine while ASUS are awesome i have old backup computer with P5KPL-AM motherboard in it and its running over 4 years till now still no signs of problems..

by the way thanks for advice mate i keep your "Intel-Core i5 4670K + Asus Maximus VI Hero" to my top list for now

EDIT:

okay after few digs in google about "MSI Z87 G45" i have decided to put aside and it should be either "Asus Gryphon Z87+Armor Kit" or "Asus Maximus"

yeah go with an ASUS board, they have great quality parts. the 4 power phase VRM on my ASUS board worked like a champ and gave me more than i could ever expect or hope for. Never used MSI or Asrock, but i would go with an ASUS mobo again anyday
