I need to upgrade my laptop to run high end games MAXED OUT if possible. ALSO would a PC rig for $500 be cheaper than upgrading a laptop???

that laptop will not run "high end games, maxed out". theres nothing you can do to change that, high end gaming laptops are available, but they arent cheap.

Your not going to run high end games maxed out on that Laptop period. Bumping up the Ram and CPU may provided you with Low to Medium settings with no O.C potential it will be limited.
