Help with installing game

I own a copy of Far Cry 1 which I legally bought, and I want to install it on my new laptop, but it doesn't have a optical disc drive. Is there anyway to install it? I have a PC that has a CD drive but I don't know how to do it. Perhaps somehow get the contents of the disc on to a USB etc. and installing it?

Buy or borrow an external optical drive, simplest way.

You could make an ISO of the game with ImgBurn, and then use virtual drive software like DaemonTools on your laptop to mount the ISO and install the game that way.

Really? Even Far Cry 1 with 6 install discs? I will check it out.

there are also cd key websites where you can buy games realy cheap and you get the key emailed to you in around 1 minute after payment and put them in steam/ origin/ uplay or whatever downloadable games provider is required , some games come in around 60gb with extra dlc and is becoming quite common, making farcrys 3 or 4 gb file size look like an addon

providing that you have a preferable unlimited download bandwidth

If you're paying for internet service and getting a limited bandwidth of any kind, you're getting screwed.
