Yes, it will run modern games on high settings at 1080p with out any problem.

Yeah most definitely. My gtx 770 runs most games on ultra so you're good to go. Make sure you update your motherboard drivers manually! MSI has a program called Live Update do not use it, it gave me issues with steam and would not let me call or join up voice on group chats. I fixed by downloading to the latest driver manually or using the driver that came with your mobo will fix it as well.
