ok Question is pretty simple but let me give you a better idea on what I am after.

I live in a Two story house, with Charter Internet and a Microsoft router, (not sure on which series of router, Sorry)

I live upstairs using a D-Link Airplus Wireless card (again not fully sure which series, can't look at that stuff right now)

I do a lot of online Gaming and downloading through Steam and whatnot, but the BEST download and connection speed I get is 350KB/s

That is not a lot. (especially when you have a small race as to see who will update faster, and mine is done in roughly 2 hours for a 9MB update.)

SO! I am figuring that the problem is my wireless card, OR a better wireless card can solve this problem.

A few ideas that I could do Is try moving my desk and computer to the Window so MAYBE less interference OR the need to get a better router. The Thing I want to avoid is having to move my computer downstairs or buying a really long Ethernet cord, cause that will only get in the way of things.

Any help for my situation?
