Hello, I need some help on my current build and was wondering if I was going in the right direction. Right now the only thing I am worried about is the CPU cooler not fitting with my motherboard and If I should get a 230 mm fan and remove the optical drive or just keep the 200 mm fan and optical drive. Any other tips are appreciated.

Hi,
-About the DVD/RW, it depends how much will you be using it, although there is not much difference in 200mm and 230mm coolers
-If you are worried about the size of the Hyper 212Evo, there are low profile coolers, like :

and
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhl12
-Also i would change the PSU. Get something form the brands like: Corsair (avoid CX units), XFX, Antec or SeaSonic.
Here are some suggestions about PSU:

You should be able to have an optical drive as well as a 230mm fan, but there isn't a particular reason to. In terms of fan radius, it's near to identical to the 200mm version, but it is 5mm deeper which allows for a greater angle of the blades to push more air. Either way, you are fine.

There is no reason to use a low profile cooler in a Prodigy (it makes zero sense) so the Hyper 212 is a really good choice. You can fit in larger, thicker coolers, like the NH-D14, but you'll potentially run into issues with trying to route the cables from the optical drive, so a thinner heatsink like the Hyper 212 gives you more room to work with.
The Asus boards have excellent CPU cooler compatibility, you can fit 140mm wide heatsinks so a 120mm based one has loads of room.

I agree with maurelie about the PSU, though not entirely with the recommendations. It's hard to beat an XFX 550W for the price (they are very competitively priced), and if you want modular then the Seasonic M12 II (and the Antec branded version - the HCG-M) 620 are both short enough to fit in a Prodigy and pretty well priced, as is the G-series if you want to spend a bit more.
