So I bought an XFX 650W 80+GOLD PSU from dabs and was really excited as it's praised to be one of the best out there for my price range. Although, when I got it I saw that it came with an EU plug, not a UK plug. Now I know that I can use an adapter but I'm scared I'll fry my PSU and maybe other components too. Can enyone recommend me an adapter or something? Thanks :(

2 Solutions
1. Return the PSU and buy another one
2. Put an adapter on the wall outlet to UK outlet.

I can't guarantee the safety of it, but I would like to think that it will work fine.

Like I've said, I cannot guarantee it, but it would make sense for it to work. Make sure the outlet adapter looks decent quality. My understanding says that EU and UK both uses 230V wall outlet and both at 50 Hz, so it sounds to me that the only difference is the shape of the outlet. Therefore, it should work fine as long as it isn't a crappy adapter.
