Tata Sky, How does it translate TV program language?

I'm just wondering how does TataSky translate TV Shows spoken language. I've searched a lot but no answers. Any idea how? 'Is there any software which translates spoken languages? (Lol question)

even i dont know the exact technology used, but in airtel they show all these as individual channels under regional channel but in tatasky they merge all regional language channel as one... making us to navigate easily...

Nope, I ask how does it translate the language which the person speaks in the TV program?!
