Which PC game is photo-realistic and demanding?

When I think of demanding video games, there is Crysis 3, etc.
But those are designed for 7 year old consoles and the PC versions only use about 2 gigs of RAM.

There's Battlefield 4. Looks OK, but seems like only a small step forward.

The point is, when/what can I expect a title that uses 8 gigs or more and brings a NVidia Titian to it's knees ? Like Crysis 1 did back in the day.
Any ideas? Does not need to be a FPS.

Thanks!

metro last light maxed out, won't really "bring a titan to its knees" but you probably will see a dent in performance.

Thanks for the post.
But are there any rumors on "The next big thing" ?
I heard nothing which seems scary to me.

Alex, is your avatar photoshopped? Looks a bit creepy :)

To really use a Titan you need to start investigating ENB in games. ENB is a overlay program that adds a host of extra visual fizz to current generation games. It's most famous for making Skyrim look better than Crysis 3 and making GTA 4 photorealistic. There is a website that specialises in making screenshots of modded games it's called Dead End Thrills, check it out.

When GTA 5 is finally released for PC you will easily be able to humble your Titan with that, ENB and the likely other texture overhauls that will be released for it.

You should also check out SweetFX, this works on more games and makes them look quite a bit better but it isn't as demanding or as spectacular as ENB.

For texture overhauls for existing games your best friend is the Nexus website. Google the Skyrim.nexus and from there you can find a list of all the other games that it supports.

Since the 1990's, people where expecting real-time ray-tracing, photo-realism graphics, scientifically accurate physics, etc. Even now it's still a dream - but people are getting closer. Depressing to think we are in a world now where everything is "good enough".
So GTA 5 is as good as it will get for now?
Please, if there is anything promising on the horizon, please let me know!

Anyway, thanks for the posts!
BTW, I don't have a Titan, just a Nv 680. But even that card is looking for a challenge.
