how to up grade my vram

i have 32 bit comp and a 4 gig ram and a 4 gig graphic card i want to update my vram . i saw in the net and tried but it always uses a part of ram and slows my pc . i have vram of 128 mb . what do i do?

You need a 64 bit system me thinks instead of 32 but don't take my word for it do some research on 32bit vram limits

If this is a laptop you're stuck with what the BIOS allows you to share with main memory. If a desktop you'll have to replace the video card with one that has more VRAM onboard. You cannot add VRAM.

I think 4gig vram is basically a 290 I don't think he can get a card with more vram realistically as 4gig vram is overkill already |I was thinking that the 32bit operating system cant use the full 4 gig just like the dram limitations.

There's no way of knowing what the OP has at present as the question rambles and is inconsistent in details:

i have 32 bit comp and a 4 gig ram and a 4 gig graphic card

and

i have vram of 128 mb .

Whether the OS is 32-bit or 64-bit is irrelevant, the GPU is the only thing accessing VRAM.
