GTX 700 Series or Wait for GTX 800?

I have a 4th Gen i5, 8GB RAM with single 1080p 24" Monitor. Do i need to buy the present GTX 700 series cards or wait for GTX 800's?. i have a budget between $450-$500..
or is it better to buy a 700's series cards after the release of 800's as thier costs decreases.

A 780 right now is a great value, no need to play the waiting game. Also this question always reminds me of this

What GPU do you have?

Curently i dont have any. I bought this rig recently. Planning to buy a Good GPU with PSU too. I am a casual gamer but wanna play games in very hign settings

For a single 1080p monitor i would go with gtx 770 or r9 280x
