Across the internet, I've seen a lot of people who have converted gaming consoles into computers. I've been neglecting my PS3 now that my computer just dominates, gaming wise and I'm wondering if there is a way of integrating the two systems into one machine; so I can essentially play PS3 games or PC games on the same system.

The concept of having all the internal components installed onto the motherboard of my PC sounds like a dream, just wondering if it's actually possible.

This is possible, but the amount of work needed and reprograming is insane. The ps3 components are formatted to word in a ps3 if u just stick em in the pc first of all they wont fit second of all the don't have the right software. With the right skill and time I am sure it can be done but it simply isn't worth it in any stretch of the imagination. 1st because it will cost a fortune and could literally take years and secondly ps3 hardware isn't actually that good if u compare to pc components. SO just get a job save money and upgrade :)

thanks for the info; I would like to state though,I already have a job... it's just a case of saving up for an upgrade and taking the time to get to know my PS3 again then
