Hello guys!

So i have a ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard wich is LGA1155 and i am thinking about getting a ASUS Maximus VI Extreme wich is a LGA1150 (I know i will need a new CPU)
My question is, how much of a performance increase will i be looking at? and is it even a smart move to upgrade? what are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

i ude my computer for gaming mostly. But i do some rendering also.. And I'm thinking about looking more into overclocking :)
I also like having some of the best hardware in my PC, (you can call me a hardware wh*re) :p

so about the CPU, I have now an i7 something 3,5 GHz LGA1155 what would the difference be if I got an i7 something 3,5 GHz LGA1150?

Depending on your GPU, none to a few FPS. If you have an i7-3770K processor you could overclock it, but I doubt it's a bottleneck. Upgrading from an i7-3770K to an i7-4770K doesn't make much sense; if money is burning your pockets, get a better GPU (unless you already own the fastest one).

Yes i have my OS on an SSD .
So i guess my machine doesn't really need any upgrades :)
