my brother gave me an old Clarion CZ200A, i make it turn on somehow and play radio and use the USB also. my problem is, the Front AUX Input is not working. here is what i did to the cables.

Black = Ground (-)
Red = 12 Volts (+)
Yellow = 12 Volts (+)
Gray/Gray Black = Speaker 1
White/White Black = Speaker 2
Purple/Purple Black = Speaker 3
Green/ Green Black = Speaker 4

the rest of the cables are not connected or no connection.

Base on the manual i download,there should be AUX MID/ AUX HIGH/ AUX LOW option when i do the instruction on the photo. but there is nothing, when i press Adj it just show the clock adjustment.

here is the website for car stereo.

The cables shouldn't affect the front aux input in that head unit. It might be some internal issue. The red wire should also be hooked up to your accessory wire so it turns on and off with the key.

No that won't. This is only a link to an article you posted about what the best head unit is and is also outdated. It's no help at all to the OPs problem.

The only thing it looks like your missing is the hi reference (12v battery feed) to the illumination wire. I don't know if that would effect the aux channel, but who knows.
