Hey everyone,
Just looking for some advice as to what I should upgrade first on my current pc. I built it about 5 years ago and it was a pretty decent mid range build, but now it's lagging. I'm looking to play modded Fallout: NV and modded Skyrim, both on the best detail and possibly with ENB, I'd also like to play some other games such as civ 5, tropico 4, starcraft 2 etc.
My current build is an e8400 cpu, p45 gigabyte mobo, 1gb gts 250, 1 500gb 5400 rpm hdd, 2 7200 rpm 500gb hdds, 4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram.
My current thought process is to go for a 120gb sdd for os, skyrim, fo:nv and a 2tb 7200 rpm for everything else and then an AMD R9 280x.
Would I be better off first upgrading my mobo and cpu or is this a decent upgrade for now?
