Ok Im not into overclocking. Im planning to build PC with specs i5 4440 on Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H and Zalman Z9 Plus.

Current temperature here is 27C. Ambient temp inside PC case is 35C. Procie temp at idle is 44-46C, with browser 48-50C (core temp)

Question is, do I still need aftermarket heatsink? Having a aftermarket hsf on a non-OC and 84w tdp is still practical? Though all of us admit that it will look better than on a stock hsf especially if we are on a windowed case :D

Is Deepcool Gammaxx 300 good? I have a height limitation of 160mm and I dont want to see a super tall or huge hsf on my case window :D

If you're not overclocking then you should be fine with the Intel stock cooler. If it's too loud then replace it with an aftermarket cooler.

No reason for an aftermarket cooler if you don't need one. Only reasons for one are if you need it quieter, cooler, or the stock won't fit in your case.
